Tehran’s 12th animation fest calls for entries

The 12th edition of the Tehran International Animation Festival (TIAF) has called for entries.

Applicants can fill out the submission form online at www.tehran-animafestival.ir from June 29 to October 27, 2020.

The 12th edition of the prestigious event is slated for February 28-March 4, 2021.

The TIAF consists of four sections, including competition, out of competition, special screening and panorama.

As per the terms of entry, pieces produced after January 2017 can enter the event under the condition that they must have had no prior screening in previous editions of the festival.

A panel consists of leading international jurors will judge the works and grant awards.

Organized by Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults (IIDCYA), the TIAF is a competitive biennial.

Its main goal is to promote animations and broaden cultural exchange.
